According to customs statistics and Mysteel research reports:

1、 In May 2023, the export volume of domestic stainless steel pipes was approximately 52100 tons, a decrease of 5.91% month on month; A year-on-year decrease of 2.85%.

Among them:

1. The export of stainless steel seamless pipes reached 21500 tons, a decrease of 8.8% month on month and 0.6% year-on-year;

2. The export of stainless steel welded pipes reached 19000 tons, a decrease of 2.1% month on month and 11.3% year-on-year;

3. The export of other stainless steel pipes reached 11600 tons, a decrease of 6.3% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 9.7%.



2、 From January to May 2023, the cumulative export volume of domestic stainless steel pipes was approximately 239500 tons, an increase of 7.83% year-on-year.

Among them:

4. The cumulative export of stainless steel seamless pipes reached 99000 tons, a month on month increase of 9.9%;

5. The cumulative export of stainless steel welded pipes reached 86700 tons, an increase of 4.4% month on month;

6. The cumulative export of other stainless steel pipes reached 53700 tons, an increase of 9.8% month on month.



3、 In May 2023, the export volume of stainless steel pipes from the top ten regions in Chinese Mainland will be about 26900 tons, accounting for 51.69%; From January to May, the cumulative volume was approximately 124000 tons, accounting for approximately 51.8%. The export volume to many overseas regions in May has been declining.
