This month, the crude steel production of 43 domestic stainless steel plants was 3.30825 million tons, an increase of 19600 tons on a month on month basis, an increase of 0.6% on a month on month basis, and an increase of 3.5% year-on-year. Among them:
The 200 series produced 1.0102 million tons, a month on month decrease of 15300 tons, a month on month decrease of 1.49%, and a year-on-year increase of 0.9%;
The 300 series produced 1.63595 million tons, a month on month decrease of 17200 tons, a month on month decrease of 1.04%, and a year-on-year decrease of 3.68%;
The 400 series has 662100 tons, an increase of 52100 tons month on month, an increase of 8.54% month on month, and a year-on-year increase of 33.13%;
In August 2024, domestic production was 3.3867 million tons, a month on month decrease of 2.37% and a year-on-year increase of 4.04%. Among them:
The production of the 200 series is 1.0052 million tons, a month on month decrease of 0.49% and a year-on-year decrease of 0.8%;
The production of the 300 series reached 1.7469 million tons, an increase of 6.78% month on month and a decrease of 0.17% year-on-year;
The 400 series has a production capacity of 634600 tons, a month on month decrease of 4.15% and a year-on-year increase of 28.93%;
1、 Production of stainless steel bars
This month, the total output of bar materials from 18 domestic stainless steel factories was 143200 tons, a decrease of 6.65% month on month and 33.43% year-on-year. Among them:
1. The production of 200 series reached 6000 tons, an increase of 22.45% compared to the previous period; A year-on-year decrease of 14.29%.
2. The production of 300 series reached 114700 tons, a decrease of 9.26% month on month and 37.73% year-on-year;
3. The production of 400 series reached 19000 tons, an increase of 3.83% month on month and 32.87% year-on-year;

This month, the total output of wire rods from 18 domestic stainless steel factories was 175500 tons, an increase of 8.94% month on month and a decrease of 3.96% year-on-year. Among them:
1. The production of the 200 series was 49800 tons, a decrease of 6.04% month on month and 19.29% year-on-year.
2. The production of 300 series reached 99700 tons, an increase of 10.65% compared to the previous period, and remained unchanged year-on-year.
3. The 400 series produced 26000 tons, an increase of 44.44% month on month and 28.71% year-on-year.
3、 Stainless steel cold rolling output
This month, 36 domestic stainless steel cold-rolled mills produced 1.405 million tons, an increase of 1.89% month on month and 10.83% year-on-year. The capacity utilization rate of 36 stainless steel factories was 76.4%, an increase of 1.4% month on month. Among them:
1. The production of the 200 series was 452000 tons, a decrease of 2.16% month on month and an increase of 0.4% year-on-year.
2. The production of 300 series reached 685900 tons, an increase of 3.59% month on month and 10.17% year-on-year.
3. The production of 400 series reached 267100 tons, an increase of 4.79% month on month and 37.04% year-on-year.
4、 Production of hot-rolled stainless steel plates
This month, the hot-rolled plate production of domestic stainless steel plants was 2.0829 million tons, a decrease of 5.45% month on month. Among them:
1. 200 series 779200 tons, a month on month decrease of 3.01%;
2. The 300 series produced 936600 tons, a month on month decrease of 6.44%;
3. The 400 series produced 435100 tons, an increase of 9.14% month on month

This month, the production of 316 stainless steel from 43 domestic stainless steel factories was 124600 tons, an increase of 1.3% compared to the previous month; The production of duplex stainless steel was 42200 tons, a decrease of 6.8% compared to the previous period.
This month, two stainless steel factories in Indonesia produced 13500 tons of 316 stainless steel, a decrease of 13.5% compared to the previous month.
