Among the 300 lines in July, the output of 304 was 1342700 tons, a month on month decrease of 1.81%, accounting for 88.31% in 300 lines, and the output of 316 and 316L was 123400 tons, a month on month increase of 17.75%, accounting for 8.12% in 300 lines.

In July, the output of domestic stainless steel crude steel was lower than that scheduled at the beginning of the month. On the one hand, some steel mills limited power and production, mainly in Guangxi; On the other hand, due to typhoon weather or environmental protection inspectors, some steel mills have caused short-term unplanned shutdown; Finally, due to the tight supply of raw materials, the raw material preparation of some steel mills can not maintain high load production.

The estimated output in August is 2.863 million tons, including:

1. 2 Series: 850000 tons;

2. 300 series 1542000 tons;

3. The 400 series is 471000 tons.

In late August, the power restriction in Guangxi was relaxed, and the production of steel mills was slightly higher than expected.

In September, 32 domestic stainless steel plants are expected to produce 2.81 million tons, a month on month decrease of 1.85%; Of which:

1. 2 series of 870000 tons, with a month on month increase of 2.82%;

2. 3 is 1.48 million tons, with a month on month decrease of 4.05%;

3. 4 series of 460000 tons, a month on month decrease of 3.10%.

In September, the power restriction in Guangxi was slightly relaxed, and the output of 200 series increased slightly.

Note: in 2020, the national output of stainless steel crude steel was 30.139 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 739400 tons or 2.51%. Among them, the output of Cr Ni stainless steel (300 Series) was 14.3796 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 887400 tons, an increase of 6.58%, accounting for 47.71%, an increase of 1.82 percentage points; The output of CR series stainless steel (400 Series) was 5.925 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 422400 tons, an increase of 7.68%, accounting for 19.66%, an increase of 0.94 percentage points; The output of Cr Mn stainless steel ("200" series) was 9.6432 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 580900 tons, a decrease of 5.68%, accounting for 32.00% and a decrease of 2.78 percentage points; The output of duplex stainless steel was 191432 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 10489 tons or 5.8%.

In terms of import and export, in 2020, China imported 1.805 million tons of stainless steel, an increase of 686200 tons year-on-year, an increase of 61.33%. Among them, 863900 tons of steel billets were imported, with a year-on-year increase of 468.15%; The export of stainless steel was 3.4169 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 255400 tons or 6.95%.

In terms of apparent consumption, in 2020, the national apparent consumption of stainless steel was 25.6079 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.5546 million tons, an increase of 6.46%.
