Announcement of the Ministry of Commerce No. 38 of 2021

On July 22, 2019, the Ministry of Commerce issued announcement No. 31 of 2019, deciding to implement anti-dumping measures against imported stainless steel billets and stainless steel hot-rolled plates / coils originating from the European Union, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia for a period of five years from July 23, 2019.

On November 20, 2020, upon the application of Indonesia Guangqing Nickel Industry Co., Ltd., the Ministry of Commerce issued announcement No. 55 of 2020, deciding to conduct dumping and dumping margin review on the anti-dumping measures applicable to the imported stainless steel billets and stainless steel hot-rolled plates / coils produced by Indonesia Guangqing Nickel Industry Co., Ltd.

On September 30, 2021, Indonesia Guangqing Nickel Industry Co., Ltd. applied to the Ministry of Commerce for withdrawal of interim review. After examination, the Ministry of Commerce decided to accept the application. According to Article 27 of the anti dumping regulations of the peoples Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce decided to terminate the anti-dumping measures applicable to the imported stainless steel billets and stainless steel hot-rolled plates / coils produced by Indonesia Guangqing Nickel Industry Co., Ltd. from the date of publication of the announcement and the review investigation during the dumping margin.
