India makes final anti-dumping decision against Chinas stainless steel seamless steel pipes
On September 23, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement to make a final anti-dumping determination on stainless steel seamless steel pipes with a diameter of less than or equal to 6 inches originating in or imported from China. It is proposed to levy anti-dumping duties on Chinas products involved for a period of five years, with the tax amount ranging from 0 to 3801 dollars/metric ton. See the attached table for details of the levy. The involved products are stainless steel seamless steel pipes, whether manufactured by hot extrusion process or hot piercing process, whether sold as hot processing pipes or cold processing pipes, including defective products, non printed products or secondary products, with nominal diameter not exceeding 6 inches or other equivalent units of measurement, involving products under Indian customs code 7304.
On September 10, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that, in response to the application submitted by Indian enterprises Chandan Steel Limited, Tubacex Prakash India Private Limited and Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited, an anti-dumping investigation was launched against stainless steel seamless steel pipes with a diameter of 6 inches or less originating in or imported from China.
