The total inventory of hot-rolled stainless steel is 521330 tons, an increase of 24329 tons or a decrease of 4.46% compared to the previous week;

The total inventory of the 200 series is 235832 tons, a decrease of 22032 tons or 8.54% compared to last week;

The total inventory of the 300 series is 697472 tons, a decrease of 39909 tons or 5.41% compared to last week;

The total inventory of the 400 series is 252295 tons, an increase of 2267 tons or 0.91% compared to the previous week.

Wuxis inventory is 649431 tons, a decrease of 28989 tons or 4.27% compared to last week.

5、 Market analysis

In March, the total production of steel bars by 18 domestic stainless steel factories reached 148700 tons, a decrease of 9.44% month on month and 21.53% year on year. The production of other types of stainless steel also decreased almost entirely. In addition, on April 13th, the social inventory of stainless steel showed a decrease of nearly 60000 tons, a decrease of 4.79%. This dual benefit provided strong support for stainless steel and brought about three consecutive increases. Entering the morning, Qingshan once again comprehensively raised the price of stainless steel bars, resulting in a nationwide increase in stainless steel pipes.

Recently, the valuation of stainless steel has been repaired and the demand for restocking has continued to rebound. However, under current prices, the undervaluation phenomenon has been alleviated, and the demand for restocking has gradually released and may not be sustainable. The immediate profits of steel mills have significantly improved, and there may be changes in the early production reduction plan. The sustained upward momentum of prices is weakening, and the supply and demand of the middle line is not optimistic. Therefore, stainless steel prices should not be excessively pursued. However, due to the short-term warming of peripheral sentiment, it is estimated that the price of stainless steel will be strong and volatile, and the rebound mentality will be maintained temporarily.
