5. Market analysis

According to the data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) and the Shanghai Futures Exchange (the previous session), the inventory of Lun nickel and Shanghai nickel has recently shown a continuous rising trend. This trend indicates that the nickel market is relatively well supplied, while demand may not be keeping up.
According to LME data, last week, the overall Lun nickel inventory continued to rise, yesterdays inventory increase was relatively obvious, the latest inventory level of 51,840 tons, increased to a new 11-month high. This data shows that the supply of the current nickel market is relatively sufficient, which may produce a certain pressure on nickel prices.
After the steel mill canceled the price limit, the shipping attitude of agents and traders was more positive, and the real single bargaining space was loosened, so the total social inventory of stainless steel continued to decline significantly.
Boosted by the sharp rise in international molybdenum prices to promote the steady development of the domestic molybdenum market, the first impact, Qingshan 316L bar significantly increased 600 yuan/ton.
