However, with the expectation of supply growth still exceeding demand growth, the sustained upward momentum of nickel prices in the future may be insufficient.

The downstream of the stainless steel spot market lacks confidence in the future market. Qingshan has lowered the quotation for round steel, and agents and traders have followed suit in lowering spot prices. Downstream procurement is relatively cautious, and the overall difficulty of accepting orders is relatively high. Transactions are mainly based on rigid demand procurement, and the premium for stainless steel spot prices has significantly decreased.
