In January 2024, the crude steel production of 43 stainless steel plants in China was 2.741 million tons, a decrease of 226000 tons month on month, a decrease of 7.51%, and a year-on-year increase of 14.86%. Among them:

The 200 series produced 680700 tons, a month on month decrease of 22.47% and a year-on-year increase of 13.75%;

300 series 1.5302 million tons, a month on month decrease of 5.95% and a year-on-year increase of 12.09%;

The 400 series produced 529900 tons, an increase of 15.6% month on month and 25.36% year-on-year.

In January 2024, domestic production was 2.5687 million tons, a decrease of 6.28% month on month and 8.49% year-on-year. Among them:

The 200 series produced 736100 tons, an increase of 8.14% month on month and a decrease of 13.29% year-on-year;

The 300 series produced 1.3518 million tons, a month on month decrease of 11.66% and a year-on-year decrease of 8.85%;

The 400 series produced 480800 tons, a decrease of 9.27% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 1.2%;

In January, Indonesias crude steel production reached 450000 tons, an increase of 11.1% month on month and 58.8% year-on-year; In February, the scheduled production was 450000 tons, which remained unchanged compared to the previous month.

1、 Production of stainless steel bars

This month, the total production of bar materials by 18 stainless steel factories in China reached 196600 tons, a decrease of 3.71% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 29.05%. Among them:

1. The production of the 200 series reached 10500 tons, an increase of 23.53% month on month and 425% year-on-year;

2. The production of the 300 series reached 164600 tons, a decrease of 5.35% compared to the previous period and an increase of 19.88% year-on-year;

3. The production of the 400 series reached 14500 tons, a decrease of 2.03% month on month and an increase of 26.09% year-on-year;

4. The production of other special materials reached 5000 tons, an increase of 2.04% compared to the previous period.

2、 Production of stainless steel wire

This month, the total production of wire rods from 18 stainless steel factories in China reached 165900 tons, a decrease of 4.49% month on month and an increase of 46.94% year-on-year. Among them:

1. The production of the 200 series reached 53600 tons, a decrease of 5.13% compared to the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 147%;

2. The production of the 300 series reached 95400 tons, a decrease of 6.01% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 21.99%;

3. The production of the 400 series reached 16900 tons, an increase of 7.64% month on month and 30% year-on-year.

3、 Stainless steel cold rolling yield

This month, the cold rolling production of stainless steel from 36 domestic companies reached 1.3399 million tons, a decrease of 1.47% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 48.58%. Among them:

1. The production of the 200 series reached 414900 tons, an increase of 5.98% month on month and 115.53% year-on-year;

2. The production of the 300 series was 696400 tons, a decrease of 3.61% compared to the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 41.75%;

3. The production of 400 series reached 228600 tons, a decrease of 7.04% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 4.86%.

4、 Production of hot-rolled stainless steel plates

This month, the production of hot-rolled steel plates by domestic stainless steel plants reached 1.603 million tons, a decrease of 15.99% compared to the previous month. Among them:

1. 200 series 497600 tons, a decrease of 37.48% month on month;

2. 300 series 779300 tons, an increase of 1.18% month on month;

3. 400 series 323500 tons, a month on month decrease of 4.54%;
