In February 2024, the crude steel production of 43 stainless steel plants in China was 2.5467 million tons, a decrease of 194100 tons month on month, a decrease of 7.08%, and a year-on-year decrease of 9.28%. Among them:

The 200 series produced 737900 tons, an increase of 57200 tons month on month, an increase of 8.4% month on month, and a decrease of 13.08% year-on-year;

300 series produced 1.3249 million tons, a decrease of 205300 tons month on month, a decrease of 13.42% month on month, and a decrease of 10.67% year-on-year;

The 400 series produced 483900 tons, a month on month decrease of 46000 tons, a month on month decrease of 8.68%, and a year-on-year increase of 1.85%.

In March 2024, domestic production was 3.1935 million tons, an increase of 25.4% month on month and 14.15% year-on-year. Among them:

The 200 series produced 956500 tons, an increase of 30.98% month on month and 14.58% year-on-year;

The 300 series produced 1.6802 million tons, an increase of 26.82% month on month and 15.05% year-on-year;

The 400 series produced 546800 tons, an increase of 13% month on month and 10.73% year-on-year;

This month, Indonesias crude steel production was 449000 tons, a decrease of 0.1% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 70.6%; In March, Indonesias production was 443000 tons, a decrease of 1.4% compared to the previous month.

1、 Production of stainless steel bars

This month, the total production of bar materials by 18 stainless steel factories in China reached 118900 tons, a decrease of 38.9% month on month and 27.59% year-on-year. Among them:

1. The production of the 200 series was 0.25 million tons, a decrease of 76.19% month on month and 76.19% year-on-year;

2. The production of the 300 series reached 107200 tons, a decrease of 34.87% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 23.7% year-on-year;

3. The production of 400 series reached 9200 tons, a decrease of 36.55% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 29.32% year-on-year;

This month, the total production of wire rods from 18 stainless steel factories in China reached 114900 tons, a decrease of 30.74% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 25.63% year-on-year. Among them:

2. The production of the 300 series reached 71800 tons, a decrease of 24.74% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 24.66% year-on-year;

3. The production of the 400 series reached 17300 tons, an increase of 2.37% month on month and 41.8% year-on-year.

This month, the cold rolling production of stainless steel from 34 domestic companies reached 950400 tons, a decrease of 29.07% month on month and 20.22% year-on-year. Among them:

1. The production of the 200 series was 235800 tons, a decrease of 43.17% month on month and 42.12% year-on-year;

2. The production of the 300 series reached 511500 tons, a decrease of 26.55% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 15.54%;

3. The production of 400 series reached 203100 tons, a decrease of 11.15% month on month and an increase of 15.27% year-on-year.

4、 Production of hot-rolled stainless steel plates

This month, the production of hot-rolled steel plates by domestic stainless steel plants reached 1.6578 million tons, an increase of 3.59% month on month. Among them:

1. 200 series 596600 tons, an increase of 19.90% month on month;

2. 300 series 755800 tons, a decrease of 3.01% month on month;

3. 400 series of 305400 tons, a month on month decrease of 5.58%;
