According to customs statistics and Mysteel research reports:
1、 In September 2024, the domestic export volume of stainless steel pipes was about 5.91 tons, a decrease of 7979 tons compared to the previous month, a decrease of 11.9% compared to the previous month, and a decrease of 848 tons compared to the previous year, a decrease of 1.4% compared to the previous year. Among them:
1. The export volume of stainless steel seamless pipes is about 23300 tons, a decrease of 7.5% month on month and 9.7% year-on-year;
2. The export volume of stainless steel welded pipes is about 22100 tons, a month on month decrease of 15.7% and a year-on-year increase of 5.6%;
3. The export volume of other stainless steel pipes was about 13800 tons, a decrease of 12.6% month on month and an increase of 3.8% year-on-year.

5. This month, exports to India amounted to 3300 tons, a decrease of 23.8% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 25% compared to the same period last year; From January to September, exports to India amounted to 34000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%.
6. This month, exports to Vietnam amounted to 3200 tons, an increase of 11.6% month on month and 1.9% year-on-year; From January to September, 26900 tons were exported to Vietnam, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year.
7. This month, exports to the United States amounted to 2700 tons, a decrease of 8.9% compared to the previous month and an increase of 7.9% year-on-year; From January to September, exports to the United States amounted to 25400 tons, an increase of 22.7% year-on-year.

10. This month, exports to Malaysia amounted to 1800 tons, a decrease of 21.6% compared to the previous month. A year-on-year decrease of 14.9%. From January to September, exports to Malaysia amounted to 16000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%.
11. This month, exports to other regions totaled 27700 tons, a decrease of 16.8% month on month and 6.9% year-on-year; From January to September, exports to other regions totaled 254300 tons, an increase of 9.1% year-on-year.
This month, Indonesia has returned to its position as the largest export destination. Unless unexpected, Indonesia will undoubtedly become the fastest-growing destination for stainless steel pipe exports from mainland China this year, and has a high possibility of replacing India as the largest export market for stainless steel pipes this year.
