US launches double reverse sunset review investigation on stainless steel welded pressure pipes-Zhejiang Benji Stainless Steel Co., Ltd

On November 1, 2024, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated the third anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review industry injury investigation on Circular Welded Austrian (Stainless Pressure Pipe) imported from China, and the second anti-dumping sunset review industry injury investigation on stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The investigation aims to examine whether the substantial damage caused by the import of the products in question to the domestic industry of the United States will continue or occur again within a reasonable foreseeable period if the current anti-dumping and countervailing measures are lifted. On November 4, 2024, the US Department of Commerce announced the initiation of the third anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from China, and the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Stakeholders shall register their responses with the US Department of Commerce within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Stakeholders should submit their responses to the U.S. International Trade Commission by December 2, 2024, and provide comments on the adequacy of their responses to the case no later than January 2, 2025. On February 3, 2014, the US Department of Commerce launched the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from China. On June 9, 2014, the US Department of Commerce made its first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review final ruling on stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from China. On June 6, 2013, the United States launched an anti-dumping investigation into stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. On June 4, 2019, the US Department of Commerce launched the second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from China, and the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. On October 2, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made its second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review final ruling on stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from China, and its first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on stainless steel welded pressure pipes imported from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
