During this period, the news that Myanmars ferronickel project was bombed and Indonesia may impose ferronickel export tariffs continued to push up nickel prices, while nickel inventories continued to decline, resulting in a significant rise in the cost of stainless steel.

The production schedule of 300 series stainless steel in February is expected to decline by 1.1% month on month compared with January. The accumulation range of stainless steel during the Spring Festival is weaker than that in previous years. The demand for replenishment is superimposed on the traditional peak consumption season, and the demand for stainless steel is expected to be optimistic. In March, the demand for stainless steel may be prosperous in both supply and demand. Meanwhile, because the Philippines is still in the rainy season, the domestic nickel ore supply is tight, some ferronickel enterprises reduce production, and the price of ferronickel at the raw material end is strong, which supports the price of stainless steel. Stainless steel showed accumulation as a whole, but the accumulation range was less than expected. It is expected that due to the strong cost support of raw materials, the short-term stainless steel and stainless steel pipes will maintain high-level vibration operation.
