In August 2023, the crude steel output of 43 domestic stainless steel plants was 3.2553 million tons, an increase of 2.3% month-on-month and 36.5% year-on-year. Among them:
200 series 1,013,300 tons, an increase of 1.6% month-on-month, an increase of 29.4% year-on-year;
300 series 1,749,800 tons, an increase of 3.5% month-on-month and 34.2% year-on-year;
400 was 492,200 tons, a decrease of 0.6% month-on-month and an increase of 64.7% year-on-year.
In August 2023, the domestic output was 3.2817 million tons, an increase of 0.8% from the previous month and 23.7% from the same period last year. Among them:
The output of 200 series was 100.66 million tons, down 0.7% month-on-month and up 23.7% year-on-year;
The output of 300 series was 1.783 million tons, an increase of 1.9% month-on-month and 26.6% year-on-year;
The output of the 400 series was 492,100 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 0.02% and a year-on-year increase of 24.4%;

Indonesias crude steel production in August was 415,000 tons, an increase of 48.2% month-on-month and a decrease of 0.2% year-on-year; In September, the output was 400,000 tons, a decrease of 3.6% from the previous month and an increase of 6.7%.
First, stainless steel bar output
This month, the total output of 18 domestic stainless steel mills was 203,500 tons, a decrease of 5.3% from the previous month and an increase of 11.2%. Among them:
1, 200 series production of 7,000 tons, an increase of 0% compared with the previous year, an increase of 16.67%;
2. The output of 300 series was 180,000 tons, a decrease of 2.28% from the previous quarter and an increase of 10.16% from the previous year;
3, 400 series production of 12,300 tons, a decrease of 13.99% compared with the previous year, a decrease of 9.56%;
4, the output of other special materials 0.42 million tons, a decrease of 56.25%.
Second, stainless steel wire output
This month, the total output of 18 stainless steel factories in China was 162,600 tons, a decrease of 10.64% from the previous month, an increase of 10.91%, of which:
1, 200 series production of 56,400 tons, a decrease of 8.59% compared with the previous year, an increase of 61.14%;
2. The output of 300 series is 88,300 tons, a decrease of 11.14% from the previous quarter and 12.83% from the same period last year;
3, 400 series production of 17,900 tons, a decrease of 11.39%, an increase of 73.79%.
Three, stainless steel cold rolling output
This month, the domestic 34 stainless steel cold-rolled production of 1.316,200 tons, an increase of 3.83% from the previous month, an increase of 20.41%, including:
1, 200 series production 401,100 tons, a decrease of 10.91%, an increase of 23.3%;
2. The output of 300 series is 696,600 tons, an increase of 11.89% from the previous quarter and 18.63% from the previous year;
3, 400 series production of 218,500 tons, an increase of 21.11% compared with the previous year, an increase of 20.99%.
Four, stainless steel hot rolled plate output
This month, the domestic stainless steel factory hot-rolled sheet production of 200.74 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 0.04%, including:
1, 200 series of 765,300 tons, an increase of 2% month on month;
2, 300 series 917,300 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 1.4%;
